MatchPing is a Discord bot. It posts pro Counter-Strike matches into a Discord channel. This page says what data MatchPing keeps, why, and how to get it deleted.

The short version: MatchPing keeps data about servers and channels, not about people. It does not read your messages. It does not store Discord user IDs or usernames.

What the bot stores

When a server sets up MatchPing, the bot stores:

• The server's Discord ID and name.
• The ID of the channel that gets the posts.
• The webhook the bot posts through. The webhook token is encrypted before it is stored (AES-256-GCM).
• The server's settings: which teams to follow, the digest hour, and the time zone.
• The IDs of the messages the bot posts, so it can edit them as a match goes on.
• Dates and times for when each of these was created or changed.

The bot also stores public match data: teams, schedules, scores, and rankings. That data is not about you.

What the bot does not store

• Messages that people send in your server.
• Discord user IDs, usernames, or profiles.
• Member lists.

Why

The bot uses this data for one thing: to post and update match messages in the channel you picked. It does not sell data. It does not use data for ads. It does not share data with anyone except the services listed below, and only so the bot can run.

Where the data goes

• Google Cloud Run (Oregon, USA) runs the bot. Its service logs can include internal IDs that point to a server's setup. They never include webhook tokens. Google keeps these logs for about 30 days.
• Supabase (Oregon, USA) hosts the database.
• Discord receives the match messages.

The bot reads public match data from PandaScore and from Valve's public rankings on GitHub. It sends these sources nothing about your server. Match posts can link to HLTV, but the bot does not send HLTV any data.

How long data is kept

Server data is kept until you ask for it to be deleted. Removing MatchPing from your server does not delete this data. To have it deleted, email the address below with your server ID. It will be deleted within 30 days.

This website

The site has no analytics, no tracking, and no cookies. It loads a font from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads. It saves a few display settings in your browser's local storage. Those settings never leave your browser. The web host may keep normal access logs.

Children

MatchPing is for Discord users. Discord requires users to be at least 13, or older where local law says so.

Changes

If what the bot stores changes, this page changes first. The date at the top shows the last update.
